San Diego - Happy Happens
If you are looking for warm weather, great beaches, one of the best Zoo's in the World and a lot
of the early California ambiance, San Diego is the place. The average temperature is 70 degrees, however it can be cooler
along the coast and quite a bit hotter inland where the beautiful coastal area turns into a desert.
Although San Diego is California's second largest city, it is spread out and without the 'big city' feel. Plenty to do
for almost any interest. It includes the largest urban cultural park in the U.S., Balboa Park with 15 museums, art
galleries and theaters.
The Old Town area is like being in the early California with a heavy Spanish
influence. You could also drive around 30 miles south and be in Mexico. There is over 70 miles of beaches, over 30 museums
(including one dedicated to surfing), more than 90 golf courses and, of course, lots of surfing, boating, sailing and swimming.
The World famous San Diego Zoo should not be missed.
Also, plan to spend time at Sea World, the Wild Animal Park and LEGOLAND California. There is something for everyone to
enjoy in San Diego - the most difficult part is deciding what to do first!
